Customize your chatbot's appearance, greeting, and behavior.

The Identity settings let you change the bot's appearance and behavior.

Greeting

The greeting is the first message a user sees from the bot. You can use multiple lines to introduce the bot and explain what it can help with.

Quick choices

Quick choices are suggested replies that appear after the greeting for the user to choose from. For example:

  • What's the pricing?
  • What are the main features?
  • I found a bug

Floating buttons

Floating buttons hover over the chat widget and nudge users to start a conversation. Use them to highlight common questions like "What's the pricing?".

Custom instructions

Custom instructions let you set the tone and goals for your bot. Examples:

  • "Try getting people to sign up to the Pro plan."
  • "Encourage newsletter sign-ups."

Hide bot

Hides the bot from your website. Useful during development or when making improvements.
