Training your bot

Now the identity is complete we will need some actual data that the bot can utilize to create answers.

General /general :

Here you can provide a general description of your company. Be sure to add your contact information.

The knowledge base /knowledge :

Here you will provide the data that will be used to answer questions and complete task. It is important to give the BOT a good set of useable data as the better the underlying training is the better the bot will perform.

The Add Files supports PDF:s and TXT files. Right now the limit is pretty low. If that is a problem please contact us for help.

The Add Website adds a website that you want to use as a source for the bot. It is a good practice to add the website that the bot is embedded on. This will give it better context of the website aswell as a lot of the questions a user has is already on the website. If the website has got updates you can easily refetch the data by clicking the three buttons.

Preferred Responses /preferred-responses :

Here you can add preferred responses to certain questions a user ask. This is really useful if for certain edge cases and when you want to deliver a consistent and controlled response. Here you add the response by clicking the + Add response button and filling in the user question and the corresponding preferred response to it.

Some example use cases of this are:

If a user asks "What are the opening hours" you can create a consistent answer if it already isnt mentioned in your data.
